scanty rainfall.

year(1) from June to
Septmber in Monsoon season
(2) from December-February
in winter season.
- The Monsoon rainfall is
more than the winter
rainfall.
- The average annual
rainfall of the state is 45
cms.
- Shivalik ranges in the
state receive maximum
rainfall i.e., 216 cms while
the siuthern part receives
the rainfall 25 to 28 cms(as
recorded).

Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal,
Jind, Sonipat and Panipat.
Minimum rainfall
receving areas
- Sirsa, Hisar, Bhiwani,
Rewari, Rohtak, Faridabad,
Gurgaon, Mahendragarh.
